I bought this used XW-DJ1 to save money, and it's a decent entry-level controller if you're on a tight budget. The portability is its main draw—it's small enough to toss in a bag. But being used, I had some concerns about the battery life and the crossfader wear. So far, everything works, but the jog wheels and buttons feel a bit worn. For $195, it's a gamble worth taking if you just want to mess around with mixing. Don't expect it to replace a proper DJ setup. The plastic case is lightweight but not road-ready. If you can find a new one for a little more, you might be happier.
