Our take
The Pioneer DJM-500 is a classic workhorse. I've used it at clubs for years. The effects are basic but effective, and the BPM counter is handy. Included road case is a nice bonus. At $499.99, it's a great deal for a used mixer in good condition. However, it's an older model—no USB or digital connectivity. The effects are limited compared to modern units. Plus, it's heavy and bulky. If you need a reliable analog mixer for gigs, this is solid. Just don't expect modern features.
