Our take
I picked up the DDJ-FLX6 with its carrying case, and I'm impressed by the portability and the four channels packed into a compact frame. The built-in filter and reverb effects are handy for quick transitions, though I wish the sampling rate were higher for more pristine audio. The 16 pads give plenty of cue points and loops, and the USB power means one less cable to worry about. But the plastic build feels a bit light — not as sturdy as pricier models. For mobile DJs who need flexibility, it works well, but the limited mic input and lack of phono inputs might be dealbreakers for vinyl enthusiasts. Overall, a solid mid-range controller for digital sets.
